[edit] Premise
Livin' the Dream takes place in an American office. The company that employs characters, ConsumerLink, is never well-defined, nor is it clear what service they provide. According to co-creator Christian Huey, this was done to add to the feeling of anonymity of the company, and of the disconnect many white collar employees feel between their duties and larger workings of the company.
[edit] Release Schedule
Episode 1: Hang In There! (part one) was released on the Chicken Fried Radio RSS feed as a Quicktime file embedded in the usual blog post on March 28, 2008. Hang In There (part two) was released in May. It is currently unknown what release schedule the Jackasses will follow for the future of the series. UPDATE: In May it was revealed that future episodes would require a minimum budget of $297 per episode. The first two episodes ran far over budget. The Livin' the Dream project has not been abandoned by the Jackasses, but no episodes are in production as of July 2008 due to financial constraints.
